Photoshop: Grabbing screenshots for screen printing

Aim: To become familiar with the basics of Photoshop for print.

To make a film negative for printing - this is how you learn to do it;

Step 1: You search the Internet for an image and then put it onto Photoshop.

Step 2: You click on Image tab - then click on Adjustments and the click on Desaturate. Here is how it should look like:

Step 3 Click on Image tab - then click on Adjustments and the click on Levels. This is where you slide the top bar along to get it as black and white as much as you can but you must make sure you have enough detail of the image to work with. Too much and it will not work.

Step 4: You click on Image tab - then click on Mode - then Grayscale. Technically it's not much of a change.

Step 5: Click on Image tab - then click on Mode - then Bitmap. When it comes to the options you change the method to Halfscreen. Then you click OK and then there should be another option where you half the numbers (any number, for me I change 53 and 48 to 15 and 15 again) and change the shape from Diamond to Round.

Here is the end result:

And there you have it!!
